The second in the line for official, fully licensed SECRET AFFAIR reissues is their follow-up to “Time For Action” from Heavy Soul Records.
“Let Your Heart Dance”, with it’s tribal drum intro, leading to the horns and Ian Page’s impassioned plea came out in late 1979 and reached #33 in the UK charts, prompting another Top Of The Pops appearance.
More dancey than it’s predecessor: “I felt Time for Action got people punching the air, but I didn’t feel that it was a song to dance to,” said Ian Page.
“Let Your Heart Dance is a dance anthem with lots of horns, but with the room for Dave [Cairns] to do that extraordinary thing he does with the guitar over the top. It was a fantastic opportunity to test a studio to its limits; there are about three drum kits on it”.
Re-released on blue coloured vinyl, keep the set going – “My World” is next!
